Maritime Welding Inc. Begins Second "FGD" Unit Project

Bathurst, NB - (February 2006) Due to the success of the Coleson Cove Project in 2003, The Babcock & Wilcox Company of Barberton, Ohio have once again chosen Maritime Welding Inc. to manufacture sections of Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD) units out of 2205 Stainless Steel. The sections will then be shipped and assembled at the Progress Energy's Roxboro, North Carolina plant. These (FGD) units are the latest in air polution control technology. |
